Best of Fridays at the 3rd Floor Comedy Club

Tickets for a live stand-up comedy show in English at the 3rd Floor Comedy Club.

Every Friday on the corner of Crescent and Maisonneuve, Montreal’s comedy scene sparkles brightest at the 3rd Floor Comedy Club. Each comic who steps onto the brightly lit stage is not an amateur, but a performer. Their professionalism and extensive experience are palpable, ensuring that every set is not just performed, but masterfully crafted just to make you laugh.

What makes Fridays at the club truly standout in the comedy circuit is its bi-weekly roast battle which is the only official Montreal roast battle. This is NOT just an empty credit; it is a roast battle that counts for points for the city of Montreal towards the International Roast Battle League.

Here professional roasters go head-to-head in a war of humourous insults, each striving to outwit their opponent and win over the audience. The energy is infectious, and the stakes are high, as both the audience and a panel of judges crown a victor who may rise in the official roast battle league.

At this unique venue, the drinks are cold, the audience is sitting in the dark and the atmosphere is charged with the kind of excited energy that only a live comedy show can summon.

Tickets to this comedy show are as accessible as the laughs. At only $20 they are available right here. So, mark your calendars, bring your friends, and prepare for an evening of laughs or roasts. At the 3rd Floor Comedy Club, every Best of Fridays Show is a top-tier performance, promising not just a good time, but a memorable one.

The Secret Show

Tickets for the secret show at the 3rd floor comedy club on crescent.

A wise man once said, “If you are not living on the edge, you are taking up too much space.” This rings hilariously true to the best reviewed show in Montreal’s English comedy scene: the Secret Show.

Imagine the following: you enter a small, dark comedy club, the music builds into the anticipation of the night. The show kicks off with three of the club’s regulars, each performing a 5-minute set of live stand-up comedy. These talented professional comedians set the stage with their razor-sharp wit, drawing you into a night of laughter and unexpected twists.

But the fun has only begun. After the 3rd Floor Comedy Club’s regulars sets, the show transforms into a live podcast-style comedy show, helmed by none other than Montreal comedy veteran Pantelis. If you’re a fan of The Joe Rogan Experience, The Pantelis Podcast, or JFL, then you already know you are in for a treat. Pantelis, a 15 year comedy veteran, along with a rotating cast of 3rd Floor comedy club regulars, takes the stage to dive into current events, interact with the audience, and share behind-the-scenes secrets from the entertainment world. No topic is off-limits, and no punchline is too daring.

You might be wondering, “But Mr. CCC, how come it’s called the Secret Show when you are spilling all the beans?”. Well, you see in the world of stand-up comedy, a secret show is one where comedians perform without any restrictions. However, there’s a strict no phones policy in place where pictures and videos are restricted (you may keep your phone on you). This golden rule ensures that everything said in the room stays in the room.

You do not want to miss out on this unique show that has become a staple in Montreals’ comedy scene. Whether you’re a local or just visiting tourist, the Secret Show at the 3rd Floor Comedy Club is an experience you won’t forget. It comes to no surprise to the club that everyone who attends either comes back for more or leaves glowing reviews.

Tickets are just $20. Grab yours now and come listen in on the industry’s dirtiest secrets.

Better Than Your Therapist

Does your group chat feel like the blind leading the blind? Have you spent your life savings on three therapy sessions, but still compulsively date Virgos?

Better Than Your Therapist (BTYT) is a live comedy show where audience members confess their most pressing worries to a panel of Montreal’s most talented comedians, but important to note, not actual therapists.

We are talking about relationships, sex, kinks, first dates, breakups, situationships, career, family, friends – across all genders and orientations. You name it, we have partially helpful advice for it.

Consenting audience members will place their names in a bowl at the beginning of each show. Each round, one audience member will be selected to come onstage and present their dilemma.

This comedy show happens on a monthly basis only. Catch it on the 15th of December at the Comedy Nest located at the forum in downtown Montréal.

Doors open at 7:30pm, showtime is at 8pm. Tickets are available for 18$.

Who Wrote This?

Ladies and gentlemen, welcome to the most interactive comedy show in Montreal! That’s right, November 2nd, the 3rd Floor Comedy Club teams up with the Canadian Comedy Cartel to put the power in your hands as the audience gets to write down topics for our fearless (not really) comedians to perform. And let me tell you folks, this ain’t your grandma’s bingo night.

Picture this: a bucket filled with all sorts of crazy and random topics, from politics to slurs, relationships to ridiculous hypothetical scenarios. Our comedians will have no idea of what’s coming.

Now I know what you’re thinking – “Mr. Canadian Comedy Cartel, isn’t this just setting them up for failure?”

“Absolutely fucking not” -Mr. CCC.

These brave souls are handpicked for their talents (as in much of our shows) in crowd work and improvisation. They’ll take whatever curveball you throw at them and throw it right back at you with laughs following closely behind.

So grab your drinks, write your unoriginal boring first world thoughts and get ready to witness some of Montreal’s finest comedic minds at work in a way you won’t at any other show.

Be sure to hold nothing back when writing your suggestions. For these comics are prepared for literally nothing.
